Pacific Ocean (Aug. 27, 2006) - Ecuadorian Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) team members from the Ecuadorian naval war ship Corvette BAE El Oro (CM 14), conduct training aboard a merchant vessel during exercise PANAMAX 2006. Civil, naval and air forces from 18 countries have gathered in Panama to conduct the multi-national training event for the defense of the Panama Canal. PANAMAX 2006 is multinational training exercise tailored to the defense of the Panama Canal, involving civil and military forces from the region.
